I've been shaving for years, at least since I was 12 was I hit the mountain of puberty. My Daddy used to call me “rich blooded” but I’m just plain old hairy!! It wasn’t until I became a teenager involved activities such as pageants and cheerleading that a good clean shave became super important. My teen years also became the beginning of a long history of experimentation with multiple shavers and shaving creams. Because I have coarse and curly hair on my legs and under arms, finding shaving solutions has been what I like to call, a labor of love and pain!!
I recently discovered after overlooking them that razors and shaving cream made for men work wonders on my legs and underarms. The razors are sharper and better made and the shaving creams and gels are more emollient and moisturizing than the ones made for women in my opinion. I also stumbled upon another surprise, after shave! Yes, after shave!! Ladies can purchase unscented after shave balms, lotions, oils that will close open pores and smooth skin for a clean shave. I started using a mixture of witch hazel and tea tree in a spray bottle under my arms after shaving and I have an after shave balm for my legs. Works wonders for me and my “rich blood”!
The is a sponsored post for the Art of Shaving, however, the
views and opinions are my own.
