Uh..Fall, Where are you? Fashion Cupcake: Eyeglasses

I spent most of yesterday going thru my first set of Fall/September Issue magazines. I've recieved so far, People StyleWatch, Marie Claire and Elle. I was in heaven! Each year I make a wishlist of things a want to refresh my wardrobe. I definitely put eyeglasses on that list. I wear them and I like to change up even though my sight doesn't change.

I get my doctor to give a my prescription glasses' prescription and take it any where I want for new frames. Its that easy! I like being able to have that option.

Review:Flirt! Cosmetics.....

I've been a fan of Flirt! Cosmetics for a minute. Whenever I go to Kohl's, I beeline it straight to the Flirt counter!

The good folks over at Flirt! sent me to some goodies to try and review, so let's go!

I got:

Big Flirt Thickening Mascara in Blue Hawaii and Violet Vixen

Glamourazzi Extreme Lip Lacquer in Red Hottie

Look of Love Eye Pencil in Gold Tease

Big Flirt! Thickening Mascara Blue Hawaii and Violet Vixen- I used these over my black mascara for extra "umpt". That's the way I would suggest wearing a colored mascara so that you will get the full experience. I like the tube-like container. It sticks out over all the other mascara when its in my mascara container, so can find them easier....
Here are some swatches of Look of Love Eye Pencil in Gold Tease and Glamourazzi Extreme Lip Lacquer in Red Hottie. Two really great colors for the Fall....
In this pic...I wore the Gold Tease Eye Pencil underneath the lower lashes. I love how it ties the whole eye look together. I've been wanting to try colored eye liners and this was a great start!
I got on Glamourazzi Lip Lacquer in Red Hottie on it this pic.... Looks great with a bare eye and rosy cheeks for emphases on the lips. Its not sticky and it has a brush applicator. The brush applicator can get messy so if have to kinda judge how much you are going to twist up for application. That's my only con on this lip lacquer.

Overall, Do what I do, and beeline it to the Flirt counter or the Flirt! website. lol! They have even MORE goodies online and at the counter, honey. They are fabulous!

Plus Size Clothing! Review and Giveaway!: Alight......

Hi Everyone,

Today, I'm presenting you all with a review and giveaway from Alight Shop, a trendy plus size clothing store located online and brick &mortar in Long Island, NY!

I love finding new clothing options for my body and Alight is definitely one. They sell all types of clothing and accessories from size 12-34. I'm 32 years old, but I still like to like current and modern yet lady like. Alight provides a range a styles you would not believe!

The good folks over Alight sent me this top. I got it in size 2x which fit perfectly, no gaping around the buttons and not tight around the waist.

I wasn't fond of the color( I don't do much red.) or the style( the tie at the top with the ruffle sleeve, with the pleats was TOO MUCH) but if the shirt was black or cream it would bring down the details some.

I'll still wear it. I wore it to church with a black skirt. It has a professional feel, maybe be under a blazer or a cardigan would be fun.

My pick would have been this ruffle top in black or white or gray....eh, I'm a neutrals girl to the FULLEST. Their Fall Preview makes me wanna shop, though....I want some jeggings something serious! LOL!
