Glam Grub: Grab Em' Snacks....

I admit....I've never tasted a plantain till I got a taste of Grab Em' Snacks Gourmet Plantain Chips! Really.:)

Glam Grub: Gail Ambrosius Chocolatier....

Chocolate is my heart's desire. It is truly the best snack to me! I was so honored to try Gail Ambrosius Chocolates...yummy dark chocolate handcrafted to perfection. I'm almost speechless as to tell you my feelings about every thing...but I serve purpose to bring my readers the best in snacking! lol!

Gail Ambrosius Chocolates are based in Madison, Wisconsin. Every thing is made in small batches and free of preservatives.

I tried the Hazelnut Wafers, Ginger Trail Mix and the Six-piece Chocolatier's Choice box of truffles.

By far the Ginger Trail Mix is AMAZING! It has these serious pieces of sugared ginger that are fantastic! I need more of this right now! I was literally eating the crumbs from the bottom of the bag.

The Hazelnut Wafers were delightful. A thin piece of chocolate that melted on your tongue with a bit of crunch...

The Six-Piece Chocolatier's Choice had truffles with salt, lavender and ginger sprinkled a top. My favorite piece with a Caramel truffles with Grey Salt. The mix of sweet and salty was right up my alley.

Buy It: Victoria's Secret Fall Face Kit in Deep Skin Tones...

I feel so_____.

Anyway! I grabbed this VS Fall Face Kit for $15 regularly $28. I wouldn't bought it at $28 but I'm a sucker for a palette.

The VS Fall Face Kit consists of three shadows, a cheek color, a lip gloss, a mascara, and a eye pencil.

The only thing that has a name is the gloss. Its called "Warm Pink".
Includes a face chart...that the rebel in me never follows. *shrugs*
The look: The shadows are good and pigmented satin with a bit of fall out. The colors are gorgeous though! That pewter grey is smoky grey eye material.
The mascara...sucks. Its VS Pro Voluptuous FX Mascara. I don't like volume mascara either.
Cheek color....fabulous. The lip gloss was bit too golden to me for this look.It should've been more of a nude or a pink with a cool undertone....

For $15...buy it. :)

Buy It: L'Oreal Studio Secrets Quad in Cobalt Smokes...

I purchased L'Oreal Studio Secrets quad in Cobalt Smokes after seeing an Eva Longoria's L'Oreal Ad in Cobalt Smokes (CORRECTION: She's wearing Blackened Smokes. iFAIL). Her ad makes the quad look black smoky eye kit but it actually a dark blue smoky eye kit.
The colors are highly pigmented but not so pigmented you can't do a subtle look with it. You don't have to built so much to get intensity.

L'Oreal are you stepping you drugstore game up or what?

Guess that Milani/Wet N' Wild nipping at your heels was getting a bit much! Ha!
Here's my look....I did the grey blue color in the inner eye to the middle, then the navy satin color from the inner eye to outer....smoked it out in the corner with the black satin( it should have been a matte, would have gave a but more darkness)....and white highlighter( a bit on the crumbly side) under the crease. I used a taupe colored from the BH Cosmetics 120 3rd edition palette to blend.....
Not much work required.

Great quad for a beginner who wants a smokey eye/evening eye look in one palette at low cost or just to practice with.

To take it up a notch, liquid liner on the top lid would be great.:)
