Review: BH Cosmetics 120 Palette 3rd Edition....
Hi Everyone!!
I was offered that the great opportunity to review BH Cosmetics 120 palette 3rd edition. I don't own any of the popular "88 palettes" or 120 palettes, so this is great!!
I've often wish listed one of these multi-palettes but have never purchased one because I always felt like I own most of the colors. That was no where near true, but essentially I talked myself out of buying one.
My BH Cosmetics 120 came packaged carefully. I was thinking the whole time it was being shipped "Will it show up in pieces? that's alot a eye shadow" LOL! It came pristine and perfect:)
Here it is freshly out the box, untouched. This is the top and bottom trays....they both are removable....
Top Tray of colors....mostly primary shades, brights...mixture of mattes and shimmers and glitters...
Bottom tray...mixture of darks, smoky colors...reminded me of a great fall palette of shades...lots of neutrals....also a mixture of shimmers and mattes....
Day 1- I created a gray eye...I was oddly nervous. So many colors to choose from and I'm not the best at eye shadow shade pairing....The look came out soft and pigmented....
Day 2- I got the hang of the color choosing.LOL! I was literally drawn to this BAD neon green-yellow color. Reminded me of this crayon green-yellow I use to color with down to the nub!
Day 3-I used some of the neutrals to create a eye using my Tarte Clay Shadow/Liner in Bronze, which is all over the lid. The palette flawlessly blended well with the Shadow/Liner....
Day 4- This look was challenging because I couldn't get a good hold on my blending. Some of the darker shades are bit blending challenged....they require some work!
Overall:

For $34.95...this palette gives mega selection and good quality. Like I said, some the darker colors require a bit of elbow grease when blending but overall the color payoff is great. I've used this palette everyday in some sort of fashion, either for an entire look or just to help other colors that already have. You'll find yourself reaching for this palette again and again!
Big Thanks BH Cosmetics!
Jamie
