How I Got Caught Up at Victoria's Secret Today...

I can't stand the mall. So, I don't go in there. Why? Well, I worked in various malls, in various stores FOR YEARS, so I know what's in there, who's there, what day EVERYBODYS there, and for what. But, since I was on that side of Spartanburg to day trying to talk Verizon out shutting me down, I decided to go to Westgate. At least I could do some "blog-work", scoping around at new products....


I go into Victoria's Secret and every thing I had in mind about hating the mall went out the window. They have so much new stuff, or either I haven't been in there in a while. I have a serious plot all of these items!!!! How shall I get them? ugh!!! Very Sexy Dare is sooooo sexy. It reminds me of DKNY BE Delicious Night that I want SOOOOOO badly....Here's the notes:

Fragrance type: woody citrus
Top notes: bergamot, blood orange, pineapple juice, tamarind nectar, hazelnut leaf
Middle notes: yellow jasmine, lily, purple freesia, nutmeg, white peony

Heidi Klum, girl, stop!! Because her new little collection is slamming. This lipgloss called Cupcake is sooo pretty on me and I wanted to get it right then...

Kim and I were just talking about this the other day, VS Dream Angels Wish. It's perfect for me...I can see becoming my signature.:)

These pictures of the Heidi Klum eyeliner and eyeshadow quad do it NO Justice. The shadows are super pigmented and the liner is to die for...

Once upon a time...

Once upon a time...your cousin Jamie used to plunk down $65 for Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish. To her, its the best thing smoking in body scrub. Matter of fact, she bought at least two a year...one in the summer and one in the winter. But tis' hard times and now she has two 'chil'ren' who like Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren and just asked for a $190 telescope for Christmas. A FOUR YEAR OLD asked for a telescope he saw in a magazine so he can "look at the moon". She had cable TV and an Atari in her own room at age 5, so she feels like she can't turn him down....lol!

So, she cuts back, on herself, as she has done since August 18, 2004 and finds alternatives to her fine taste in beauty products with a rare occasional splurge here and there. I mean, a diva must keep herself up!!! She found in weekly visit to the most 'raggedy-ist' Wal-Mart on the planet, located in her hometown, Tree Hut Sugar Shea Body Scrub in Brazilian Nut. It has all the qualities of the Fresh Scrub and 90% less of the price. It's smooths the skin, it smells sooooo decadent that she has use it every day since she got it. The price? 5.88. Plus, there are other kinds such as Coconut Lime in the same brand!!!!

Go get it!!!

Review: Sunsilk Hydra TLC 24/7 Creme...

I decided, after checking to see if the Elasta QP Mango Butter came in a bigger size, not to purchase it right now. So, headed to Wal-Mart in search of a hair creme I'd used when I recently ran out of Mango Butter. Sunsilk Hydra TLC 24/7 Creme, in 2oz size, happened to be hiding under my sink with the 2oz. matching shampoo and conditioner. I loved how it made my hair very soft, left no residue, and it didn't look greasy. Even after I sealed my hair with my oil mixture, the shine was subtle and the condition of my hair was even softer. I found the bigger bottle of the Hydra TLC 24/7 at Wal-Whizzle for 3.23. A bit less in price than the Mango Butter and even better results!!

Weekend Cooking...

The Fall is here and I'm ready to get back in trying new recipes mode. I took a BIG OLE break this summer from trying new recipes, mainly because of my demanding job and empty pockets. But I'm bit better now plus I don't mind firing up the stove and oven when its cold outside. There's only so much you can experiment with in the summer anyway. Really...how many ways can you make a salad or grill chicken? ha!!


I want Rachael Ray's new book, The Big Orange Book. I tried her Pork Chops with Balsamic Strawberry Salad and Pine Nut Orzo recipe this weekend out of her November 2008 magazine and loved it. I tweek it bit as usual.:)

Hi cuzins!!

The inspiration for this mani comes from the the non-conformist herself Solange Knowles and her nails. She always has something very corner-nails-spot going on...Thought I'd give it a whirl...

Rimmel Milk Chocolate and O.P.I. mini in ?. Why ?? lol! Well, I got the O.P.I. as an extra in a swap and you nailies know how their minis never have the name on it. I took it outside to get a good look at the color and it seems to be just black in color....
