Shopping My Stash:mark. Femme 4 f.o.t.ds and a fresh relaxer...

I needed to start this series...because I've been doing alot of it.."shopping my stash": Going into your own beauty drawers or closet and pulling out things that look new, but they are not, because you already used it once, but got "beauty ADD" and toss it in a drawer. Then, months later, you go into your "stash" because times is hard or you have become a cheap ass, and pull something out and say "I forgot I had this...I must use it!"

Yesterday I pull out my mark. Femme 4 quad. I love the dark colors of the quad but the pigment quality is poor. You layer and layer and never get the intensity of what you see in the palette.I almost put it up for swap on MUA. I'd only used it once maybe twice without the results I wanted.

But I was inspired by a popular makeup YouTuber( I won't say her name). She did two different smokey eyes vids with tons of MAC products, but it didn't look like nothing. She didn't even blend enough to make it smoky. Then, she put on a harsh colored lippie and I was thru with her! I was thinking "Hell, I can do that with the junk I got..."

Here's today with the Femme 4, using the charcoal and purple shades with a little UD Asphyxia blended in...VS Garden Sweet Talk l/g in Wild Berries for the lippie.( Fresh Relaxer...stretched 10 weeks...review later!)

Yesterday, I did the charcoal with a The Body Shop Shimmer Cube in Silver blended in ...Stila Guava on the lips....

Don't get wrong...MAC is the truth. But other things work, too.Try and see!:)

F.O.T.D.: mark. Flip For It Spring in Milan...

Call it "shopping your stash". Last night I ran up on my mark. Flip For It Spring In Milan while looking thru my makeup.

I totally forgot how versatile it was and how great the colors are. Especially the lipglosses inside. I layered the dark chocolate(Gelato) and the caramel( Bella) colors to make a very pretty mix. I think I used it once. Now, I want to others mark. has made!!

How Decadent:Tom Ford Japon Noir...

There are some good things about swapping on Makeup Alley. One of the good things happened to me by the way of a sweet swapper who swapped something of my Rich Hippie Perfume in Bliss for Tom Ford Japon Noir. I didn't even know how it smelled. I research the notes and waited patiently for it arrive. I would have never own this if i hadn't seen it on her swap list on Makeup Alley.

And decadent it is!!

Review: Prai Creme de Luxe For Night...

I got this great sample of Prai Creme de Luxe for Night Creme in my October My Pink Box and its amazing. I used it, of course, at night after washing my face. Its very satiny and luscious in texture. It went on light and soaked in well. I woke the next morning not greasy and with the softest face. Of course I've squeezed the life out of the o.o7 oz. size of sample. So, I go on the Prai beauty website to see if I can order a full size...Well,

It's 150.00 for a 1oz. size. I literally sat in front of my laptop with my mouth open. But something happened...My heart started to pound like I get when I'm going shopping and I want it!!Goodness.

Think they got a Layway plan like Sears? lol!

Weekend Haul...

My children love dollar stores...Dollar Tree, etc. But, there is one in my town, that's beside a "grocery sto'" that owns the "dollar sto'", that we decided to go to on Saturday. My Great-Aunt Maxine had sent them $2 for Thanksgiving( and myself $18, I put it in my car for gas... ) so they were ready to spend it.

The "Dollar Sto'"( with no name) got WAYYYYY more stuff and WAYYYY more better stuff than Dollar Tree. They even had $1 clothing boxes, where all the clothes in the boxes were dollar.

Got this lovely Aziza Makeup...$1 a piece there.

This interesting chapeau of a hat for a $1. Look like someone hand knitted it. Reminded me to find some crochet and knitting starter stuff. We going to do it , Daynetta.:)

And this pink scarf. I wore this the rest of the day. Well, I tried to. I got hot.:)
