Disclosure: All products were purchased by me.

Hey Everybody!!

Wet N' Wild The Naked Truth is one of five new 5-pans ( five eye shadows in the palette) the company is introducing to their permanent line. After watching a video or two of swatches of all the pans, I chose to purchase The Naked Truth first. Ya'll know...I love neutral palettes!

I did just basic, from the palette swatches on my bare arm for a true swatch. No base or primer. After these swatches, I knew I would need to use a cream base or primer.
One of the looks I actually got good pictures of wearing The Naked Truth.

This look...I used four of the five shades.

Consensus:

I didn't like The Naked Truth. Why?

1) The neutrals are more cool toned. They just didn't complement my warm skin tone.

2)Three of the shades are sheer, Browbone, Crease and Eyelid. Browbone has a weird white, silver glitter that looked dusty on me.

3) Definer and Base are the best shades in the palette. But if I'm not mistaken, these two shades are in other WnW palettes. I believe the Base is one of those single shadows they sell.

I love neutral eyeshadow, but I prefer pigmented neutral shadows or they will look like I have nothing on my lid. If you are looking for a sheer wash of neutrals, an easy day or work look palette and you have cool undertones, The Naked Truth will work for you.
