 Bold( a coral)
 Whimsy ( a bright pink)

Now for some real life photos of the lipsticks. I wore them for a week or so with different looks, lipliners and glosses....

(above) Wearing Inspired
 Wearing Whimsy
 Wearing Fierce
 Wearing Inspired..again.

Wearing Bold...

Pros:
-The colors are gorgeous, highly pigmented, true to the swatch. No holds barred. You are getting full on color with the first swipe!
-The packaging is cute!
-Even though they are "long wearing" they are not drying at all.
-They have a stain( especially the darker ones) but it comes off easy.
-works well with glosses and lip liners and never loses its color of consistency when topped with them
-the longevity is great. I don't know if its 12 hrs, I didn't try and see, lol, but its definitely in the 5-6 hour range with losing a bit of color when eating.

Cons:
-The price point is $26. $26 is too much, maybe $13, which is half the cost. I would even spend $15, but not a dime over $20. Nope.
-One of the sticks broke in the tube, which leads me to think that the packaging is cute but not effective. The tube itself could be a little shorter to prevent the lippie from breaking. But I see the point of the packaging, it really stands out in my lipstick collection.

Consensus:

I would suggest grabbing at least Inspired and Fierce. Inspired is a wearable color for a lot of skin tones and Fierce is the perfect red. Wild is gorgeous for cool skin tone gals looking for your red. Bold and Whimsy are fun and definitely for collectors of bold pink must haves!

What do you think? Thinking about grabbing couple of Pure Performance lippies? Let me know!!

~ Beauty Haul~ Rite-Aid, Ulta, Walgreens, Wal-Mart

Hey Everyone!

I stopped by a couple of stores this weekend and actually complied a little haul!

N.Y.C. Duo in Devilish
N.Y.C. Limited Edition Shimmer Powder City Duet

Rite Aid: I think these two pieces are from a N.Y.C. Halloween collection display. I love a bronzer/highlight duo and I was intrigued by that matte red shadow in that duo.

Sally Hansen Salon Manicure in Polar Bear

Walgreens-I went by Walgreens and spotted the clearanced Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Polish. They were  $1.89 in my neck of the woods. These are like $8, $9 polishes for $1.89 and I only found one I wanted. Can you believe that?!? LOL!

Wal-Mart- Spotted and snatched up two of the new Hard Candy Top Ten Eye Shadow Collection. I can't believe they actually in my Wal-Mart!! They are only $6, that's a killer price. I only got two, Naturally Gorgeous and Green With Envy.

I also got CoverGirl Queen Collection Lipstick in Mocha Loca after YT's crystalis007 raved about it being the perfect dark brown girl nude. It is indeed gorgeous!

Ulta- I had a $5 off $10 coupon for Ulta. I picked up NYX Bohemian Chic Nude Matte Collection. I've been playing with it today and ruling is out on it but I will say, it suits cool tone skin better.

~Review & Swatches~ E.L.F. Cosmetics Disney Villains Evil Everyday Eyes Kit....

Hey Everyone!

I'm here on a Saturday night because my beauty muse in back and I'm loving it!! I'm back to being excited about makeup, products and beauty in general so I'm just in blogging mood on a Saturday night.:))

I purchased E.L.F Disney Villains Cruella Evil Everyday Eyes on my birthday at Walgreens in Gaffney SC. All three kits were on display, however they are $10 a piece, so I got the one that I was most drawn to. I was not spending $30 in the drugstore.....on THAT DAY. *snaps*

Are they worth $10???.......Keep reading, kids.:)
This kit comes complete with: 8 Eye Shadow colors, 2 Lip & Cheek Color Pencils, 1 Eyeshadow Primer, 1 Liquid Liner, 1 Set of False Eye Lashes, 1 Adhesive Glue, and 1 Mirror.
Gorgeous instructional layout. I was highly impressed by the effort in the instructions. I didn't use them though. lol!
I actually like E.L.F shadows, lashes and their primer. The pencils were a little to hard in texture to use or even swatch. The liquid liner was pure trash. Point blank. Trash it.
Top Row: Puppy Love, Coat of Dreams, Cruelty, Sewage
Bottow Row: Spotted, Maniac, Little Beasts, Extinction

Weird names.:/ I've never seen 101 Dalamations. I don't remember if I saw it. I'm guessing the shadow names have something to do with the movie and Cruella.
First Look: I used a couple of the shadows and paired it with a red lip, Tarte Lipstick in Fierce.
The pigmentation is great. Very true to the swatches, went on smooth, and blended like a dream. Bravo E.L.F. on the shadow quality in this kit!
Second Look: I did another combination of colors from the kit and paired it with Tarte Lipstick in Whimsy.
I'm sorry I can't tell you what I used. I was just free styling to see how the colors worked together.

Consensus:

Is the kit worth the time, the search and $10??? YES, YES, and YES. The shadow quality is great and I love the layout of the kit. I would throw away the liquid liner, unless you need one or love e.l.f.'s liquid liner, and the two lip pencils. Maybe they should have put an e.l.f. Studio Line brush or two in there instead of those products. But, other than that, find this and find it now!! I know it suppose to show up on e.l.f.'s site soon if you don't locate it near you.

~Show & Tell~ mark. Cosmetics Fall 2012.......

Saturday, October 06, 2012

Hey Everyone!!

I got some new mark. Cosmetics goodies I wanted to "show and tell" you about. These are some of the products that mark. is offering for this Fall. I've been a fan of mark. since the beginning, I was even a representative back in 2002 when they first introduced mark.!

It's awesome to see their growth and innovation of new products of the years. Now let's chat.:)

I was sent seven products this time.... here in this picture I feature six because the seventh is going to get its OWN separate review because its that good.:) Hmmmmm!!
I-mark Custom Picks Metallic Shadow in Lava: A smoky metallic black, more a dark grey than a true black. I wore it dry over a basic eye shadow primer then I wore it over a black liner. Its goes on easy and blends well for a dark color but its a color that can be found in other brands.
mark. No Place To Run Longwear Eye Liner in Jet-Set- I love the name Jet-Set! I also love a black liner. I always test a black liner in my waterline...how dark it is with one coat application. Jet Set was just average. However, its creamy and glides smoothly on the top lid which bumped it back up as a plus for me.
mark. Make It Rich Lip Color Crayon in Naturally- Lip Crayons/Stick Glosses are huge this season and mark. is in the game with Make It Rich. I love this color. Its a perfect nude to my complexion. Even though it a shimmer, color is just phenomenal. I do wish it was a creme in this same shade. The wearability was great too...lasted a good five hours before I ate and was still there after with no staining when I took it off. I'm excited try the other colors!
mark. Lash Act in Blackest Black- I have a new best friend in this mascara!!! I want long lashes because I already have volume and thick lashes. The brush along with the formula of the mascara is a perfect duo for long LONG lashes. The formula allows you to layer apon layer without clumping. I give this mascara all of its 10s!!! LOL!
mark. Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder- This bronzer just melts into my skin with a subtle glow. Even when I do oil up after a couple of hours, Bronze Pro is still there, with its subtle prettiness. It goes great on the cheeks with a bit of contouring and  hightlighting powder.
mark. Glowdacious Illuminating Powder in Prettied Up- Prettied Up is Bronze Glow's fraternal twin...both different but a powerful combo on the face!! Its very pretty, as its name describes and its not chalky or white on my face like alot highlighter powders can be on me. Use very lightly so you won't look like a grease ball in a couple of hours.
Swatches of Make in Rich in Naturally, No Place to Run in Jet- Set, Bronze Pro, and Prettied Up.( not pictured in Lava, I forgot to swatch it!!)
In this look, I'm wearing all the products.....
I used No Place To Run liner in Jet-Set as a base for the Lava Shadow....
 Lips in Naturally.....

Cheeks with Bronze Pro and Prettied Up......
