Really enjoyed the book review. I love reading fashion books, too. The cover design looked really nice. It looks like it would be a great coffee table book.
First time I'm seeing your site. It's interesting. I think your critique of Tracy Ellis Ross's part in the book is strange. While many of us idolized our moms and emulated their styles, her mom is a fashion ICON in the truest sense of the word. If she is heavily influenced, I get it. Her mom has influenced generations of young Black women.
I agree,Diana Ross truly is an icon....she shouldve been featured if all her style talk was going to be about her mom.Still, its my favorite part of the book.
