Seven Days Of Rural Glamour Hair...Day 2...Kenra Moisturizing Shampoo...

Hi Cuzins!!

Normally, I give a shampoo two sets of washes(my twice a week wash routine) before I know I'm going to stick with it. On that same day I ran into the 2 for $10 OPIs at Trade Secret, they were also giving out bags and bags of hair product samples. The sweetie of a SA gave my a full bag and included Kenra Moisturizing Shampoo( like 5 samples of it=5 washes). I used it during my Saturday night wash and was literally floored! Here's why:





-The smell was gorgeous...
-It really moisturized, my hair felt soft like after a deep condition or something, one wash really changed the texture...
-The texture of the shampoo was truly creamy, something most moisturizing shampoos claim to have but don't...




I'm sold.:) I going back to Trade Secret to get a full bottle, after I use up the samples, of course...Recessionista hustlin', people!

Seven Days of Rural Glamour Hair...Day 1...Chemistry Salon Labs Cleanse Sulfate-Free Daily Shampoo

Ah!!!Here we go again...a new series on Rural Glamour, Rural Glamour Hair. My three-month "hair-aversary" is December 11, 2008 and I'm going to take the next seven days and celebrate it by showing what great products I've used on my hair. I'll be honest, my hair has changed significantly but I'll get those details this week! Hold tight!

The first product is what I used every three weeks to clarify my hair. Chemistry Salon Labs Cleanse Daily Shampoo is winner. I only do one wash, really good, massaged into hair and scalp, followed by a moisturizing shampoo. That one cleanse makes my scalp and hair feel light and open. I think that's how clarifying shampoo should be. Plus ,its sulfate free, so there's no stripping with crazy sulfate chemical combos. I totally freaked-up Chemistry at the WU( I had to take Geology to get my Science lab requirements...)but understand this Chemistry!

N.O.T.D.:O.P.I. Glamour Game...

On last Friday, I ran into a sale of beauty sales, OPI polishes 2 for $10 at Trade Secret in Westgate Mall. Honey......I got busy...but there was a limit of six per customer. But, what I got is fabulous so stay tuned to this week's N.O.T.Ds. This one here is Glamour Game from the 2008 Holiday in Toyland. Pretty, but not really my style. Its too light, but a great neutral for me. Two coats and there was no sight of a nail. That's the only way I'll wear neutral colors on my nails if I can't see any nail underneath. Still...I might swap it...go figure.

First N.O.T.D...N.Y.C in 247B. It has no "name" but anybody who has it and knows the name leave it in the comments. Perfect Blue-Green. Definitely greener than blue...Love it.

Found this Wet N' Wild Mega Eyes Trio amongst the digging for the H.I.P. Shadow Sticks I thought I had. Never ever, ever used but had been opened.???? It had no name on it either, maybe I took it off or it was a Limited Edition.
