~Fresh Coat~ Wet N' Wild How I Met Your Magenta

 This weekend's Fresh Coat was Wet N' Wild  How I Met Your Magenta and really love this color pink! Its bright but not neon-ish with a hint of shimmer. You can barely see the shimmer, which I like.

~Haul~ Weekend Sal Val and Yard Sale Goodies!!!

Sooo....

Here's a haul of some things I picked up at the Sal Val and a yard sale that one woman gave me a plastic bag and told me to fill it up for $3....THREE DOLLARS!

Vintage/Retro Liz Claiborne Floral Handbag...Its probably from the 1980s...LC doesn't make purses anymore, right? I was drawn to the fabulousness of the floral...I wish it had the shoulder strap to go with it.

Diet Cookbooks...I collect diet books, diet cookbooks....they are full of good ideas....

Ok....the clothes are all out of the $3 bag from the yard sale...

White Stag henley for the fall/winter. That stuff from Wal- Mart never holds up well so when you see it in the Goodwill or a yard sale it looks worn to death. But this henley looks brand new.

Worthington sleeveless cowl neck

George striped blazers...I couldn't believe they both fit me!! OMG!!!

This one makes feel like going to Cluster meeting or Regionals. lol!

Newport News sleeveless shirtdress...that fits!! Its a 16. God is GOOD!!!

A demin round skirt...its wayyy too big...I might get it taken it.

~Adorn'd~ Being Crafty...Extending my "Short" necklaces with ribbon....

 Hey Everyone!

I have several necklaces that I think are too short for my neck.Plus I can never find anything to wear with them at their length, but I thought if I extended them, ala ribbon, they would be perfect to wear longer.

So the two top necklaces are from Target...

 The green beaded one in this picture is from Target too and the wooden one is Salvation Army find...

 Ribbon! lots of it...courtesy of my semi-craft hoarding parental unit. I didn't even ask before I used them.:)

 Voila!

For the clear necklace and did a pretty mauve pink ribbon and for the green necklace I did green ribbon. I made the ribbon equal on both sides of the necklaces but  long enough for adjustment....

 For the multicolored beaded necklace I did a mix of green, blue and purple for a little flavor. The brown beaded necklace got brown ribbon.

Why did I feel like I got new jewelry today!?!? I'm super happy on how they came out. Can't wait to rock them.:)

I haven't bought any thing MAC, since I bought MAC Sassy Grass eyeshadow. Really. That's it.

***Thursday is Weigh In Day...I weigh myself ONCE a week. I can't jump on the scale every day, all times of the day, when I feel fat, before a date....too much on my medicated brain. lol! Once a week is good for me. I'm a born again scale person. I'm just now embracing the scale. I avoid it all thru my teens and twenties....***

I know that I haven't been keeping up with the Weight Loss Diaries....I didn't post for all of May. Trust me nothing happened...I lost 1 lb, then gain it back but June is a different story so far.

I jumped on the scale June 2 and discovered I gain three pounds. I know what it was too. I was eating out and consuming too many bad calories in a day. My kids got out of school for the summer and my plan for them to go to summer camp and me work a temp job I found fell through. Another summer with the kids. This is the summer #4 out of 6. I was disappointed. I need, want to work! I don't see how people just don't wanna work! I got relatives like that, bums, borrowing money, living on lil' checks...I don't understand it. Anyway, I drowned my sorrow in McFrappes and $.50 wings at Wing Street.:(

And those three pounds pissed me off. So I got myself together for next week and getting this weight off.

-4 lbs

Down to 217 lbs

Then I lost four pounds...this week. I simply didn't eat out. Plus, I bought some romaine lettuce and spinach on sale. I love veggies, I should be a vegetarian but I love, LOVE chicken. lol! I've cooked every meal, had a snack when I got hungry under 100 calories to keep me from binging, and drinking water, water and water.

Kids been pissed too. lol! They loved to eat out. My younger twin boy, asked could we go to the Chinese buffet tonight. Sir...that would be a no. That is a $25 meal for three people that includes  kids' buffets and me drinking water and putting fried donuts in my purse.:) I'll pass...we can go to the movies, or another place to eat, or how about this.....go to the grocery store.

I can stretch $25 into a week's worth of grocery. I know single people and full families that can't do that. *primps in the mirror*

Still slacking on that workout-ing. smh. Its been sicken hot here. But excuses are the tools of the incompetent so let me get it together.
