~Haul~ Julep.com Order and BSS Haul....

Wednesday, October 12, 2011

Here we go...another beauty subscription package...this one is from Julep. I was excited because its nail polish but nervous because its nail polish I can't really touch and see it I like it. Can you tell I barely order polish? Its definitely one of those products like foundation I need to "touch" before buying...

I used a coupon code to get this first month of Julep for $5....yes $5! I'll tell you how in a minute....

This is the bag that all the products were tucked inside of in the box but this right here didn't settle well with me...
My box had been OPENED.... I had double check to make sure I had everything and nothing was opened... It tool a week for it to arrive from Washington State via Fedex SmartPost which is a painstaking but cheap way to send something....for "free" shipping... well, you get what you pay for.:/ So I wasn't surprised it had been opened. smh
I took a "personally quiz" on Julep.com and it told me I was an American Beauty Kit....lol!
I received a full size hand scrub, a cuticle oil, two sample and two polish colors Cameron( the pink) and Alfre ( the metallic lavender gray)

NOTDs are to come of course...can't wait to try the scrub... plus I'm going to email Julep about the open box problem...so I will update back here on the post.

Signup for your Julep box for $5 HERE!!!! Use ONE of the following codes: FB, First5 or WELCOMEMV5 to receive your first month for only $5!
Small BSS $1 jewelry haul.... I'm really into metallics these days....

~Fresh Coat~ Revlon Starry Pink....

Sunday, October 09, 2011

Funny....I didn't even know anything about this collection for Revlon by makeup artist Gucci Westman. I must not following the right people in Google Reader.:/ Just kidding!

I grabbed two of the polishes Starry Pink and Facets of Fuschia.
Here's the ad in November 2011 Lucky....
Three coats of Starry Pink. Two coats would have been ok, but I like opaqueness.  Its a lavender pink creme with silver glitter and silver hexagon glitter. Looks weird but unique..glitter in a creme?....LOVE IT.

~Fall Skin Care Review~ Lumene Spa Repairing Body Butter.....

Wednesday, October 05, 2011

I got something really great for everyone to pick up right NOW.

I'm a huge fan of Lumene and they currently have a SPA collection that contains the Repairing Body Butter that is worth every penny, nickel, quarter you GOT.

Let your body and mind relax. This luxuriously rich cream is excellent for dry and very dry skin. Its effectively softening oils also condition rough hands, elbows and heels.
Contains arctic roseroot to promote the skin’s well-being. Ideal for women of all ages especially who appreciate everyday luxury in their daily body care and who are interested in comprehensive well-being. Suitable for all skin types. Product contains over 95 % natural ingredients and fragrance is 100 % natural. Product is free from synthetic colorants and synthetic fragrances. 100 ml / 3.4 FL.OZ.

This body butter is a buttery wonderful treat for straight out of the bathtub or shower. Its lightly scented ( It reminds me of Weleda Sea Buckthorn Products) and feels amazing on the skin. Its mildly addictive, the creamy consistency and the little product that it takes to moisturize sold me. Plus you can find it at Target for less than $10.  I'm currently trying not to be heavy handed and save my product...but its hard! This is perfect Fall to Winter body butter to add into your collection. I'm raving....yes....and I don't rave that much.:)

Don't say I didn't tell you to get you some. lol!

I received a free product (or products) for review purposes. I did not receive any form of compensation from the company. All opinions are my own and not influenced in anyway. My reviews are my personal and honest opinions

~Rural Style~ Fall Fashion Wishlist.....

Tuesday, October 04, 2011

After many additions and revisions...my Fall Fashion Wishlist is ready to go. I had one more addition yesterday that if I can locate the other boot will be a subtraction...but you what Beyonce says..."I may not know algebra but...." Anyway.... Here's what I going for to add to my wardrobe:

Jeans: 1 Dressy pair, 3 Casual ( already have 2, Thanks to Goodwill and thrifting)

Leggings: In black...normally I get them from Walmart...but they haven't put them out yet.:(

Pleated Skirt: hopefully while thrifting, cross your fingers for me....

50s styles round skirts, 70s style midi skirts

Platform Stiletto Heels in black

Oxfords: I think I have an idea where to look...but Ive tried so many pair on, they are made very narrow and some are not worth the price.

Purple tights:)

Belts: thick, skinny, vintage, whatever...cinching the waist works for me.

Finger less gloves

Thin Leather jacket: That works with layering

A vintage trench: something London Fog or Aigner

Boots: knee high and flat in black and brown....

I'm praying to find most of those things thrifting and at a low, low price. I made a mini list to put in my wallet so I will keep you all posted on what I discover!
