FOTD: Wet N' Wild ColorIcon Trio in I Dream of Greenie....

Who does Wet N' Wild think they are? OPI? LMAO! With those crazy names....

Note to self: Wear more green shadow because it looks goood on me!!:)

 I use every color in the palette EXCEPT the Browbone color. When I swatched it, it was wayyyy too frosty.

 The Eyelid color ( the last shade) didn't go on as pigmented as I would like. The downside of those powdery shadows. I think it needs a green cream base before application. I'll try that next time. Also, the eyelid color is PACKED with glitter...fall out city.

 The crease color was used in the crease and outer corner and then I deepened it with a matte brown shade and my browbone was a vanilla shade from Sephora No.5 Colorful Duo. The waterline and top line is also a dark brown liner...I tried to keep it soft because the greens are soft....

 I pulled out my Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Gel CreamLiner in Green Eyes for a colorful liner on the lower lash line. I used the Green shade which is AMAZING as the liner.

I like I Dream of Greenie...Its pretty dope with a array of greens....

Thursday is Weigh In Day...I weigh myself ONCE a week. I can't jump on the scale every day, all times of the day, when I feel fat, before a date....too much on my medicated brain. lol! Once a week is good for me. I'm a born again scale person. I'm  just now embracing the scale. I avoid it all thru my teens and twenties....

Down to 227lbs

I felt that I haven't lost much, mainly because my period was coming on! lol! I feel bloated and what not and to see a pound come off that, I'm happy.

I'm still aiming for 40lbs by 12/30/2011 but something inside of me wants it off by the summer. I'm physically miserable in the summer.... hot, sweaty. PERSONALLY, I feel its the weight gain. I want to this to be a breezy, smaller sized summer. But if I try to lose it all by May or June, is that too fast? I need to stick to the plan.

My size 20 jeans are too big!! I have to wear a belt to keep them up. Plus, I working out my workout plan, crafting it myself just for me, I'll reveal it when I think its working. lol!

Still working on my food choices.... I was watching a You Tuber and I remember her saying that it took her six months to figure out what would work for her before she really started lose the pounds. Its only been a bit over a month, I'm still in "trial" season so I'm beating myself up over a -1lb loss. -1lb is better than +1 a pound.:)

FOTD: Wet N' Wild ColorIcon Trio in I'm Feeling Retro....

 Now....I'm not a makeup artist....just a girl who loves makeup...so dont take my application too seriously. I just wanted to show my fam how I'm working out these new Wet N' Wild ColorIcon Trios. I know that everyone has been raving about the pigmentation and colors but notice something today while playing with I'm Feeling Retro ( shown at the top)....

The consistency of these shadows are very much like those of the shadow palettes you buy at the local  BSS for $2.99. Its that powdery, and sometimes hard to blend texture. My NK HD shadows are like that. Vibrant colors but hell to blend out and they most of the times, if it not always a shimmer/satin.

Just wanted let you guys know my opinion on these....The colors are slightly original but the formula is has been done. Probably the best thing about them is that they may be dupes of other higher end brands and they are cheap.

 I'm wearing all three colors in I'm Feeling Retro....I'm not feeling that white shimmer color. The blending the  texture is horrific. And who would put that on their browbone as a hightlight??

 I have something like the iridescent pink color in my NK HD eye shadows ( #3024, check the link)...but I think it a MAC dupe of Romping ( which is MAC Too Dolly palette that I sold at the Blog Sale) or MAC Pink Pearl Pigment.

Come to think of it...the whole palette is very Too Dolly...excluding a black shade and MAC Yogurt.

The green shade.....possible dupe of MAC Parrot. I swatched it and compared it to my NK HD shadow in #3006, which is a Parrot dupe...very, very close.

I actually used a matte black shade to deepen the outer corner and crease.

Its an okay palette...but not original....more FOTDs coming soon!!

Getting Free RevlonColorburst Lipstick at CVS!!!!

 Another CVS Semi-Annual Beauty Sale deal!!! Can you believe I'm still shopping this sale? Well, there is another CVS in my town and the clearance literally looks untouched. The other CVS  in town barely has anything left. smh,

A couple of the  Revlon Colorburst Lipstick were marked down 75% to $2.49 a piece and my red slot box printed a $5 off two Revlon products which I used, so the lippies were FREE!!! I also got a L'Oreal Hip e/s shadow duo in Roaring that I didn't own....

 I got Mauve and Coral. I don't have any of these lipsticks. When they first came out, I didnt feel like they were package friendly, meaning I really couldn't tell if a color was right for me just by looking at the color at the top of the package.

 The Mauve is looks really lavender even without the flash. Coral reminds me of a more punchy MAC Viva Glam Cyndi .

Ok, I'm slightly oily in this picture after a long day but this is Mauve. My really into this colored liner/bold lipstick look lately. **shrugs**

Review: Bath & Body Works Carried Away.....

The best business decision Bath & Body Works ever made was to sell those $1 trial bottles of new scents they are releasing. Now they have matching sprays for $2. I picked up  Carried Away, a scent they are introducing for the spring.

Carried Away's notes are "lush raspberries, white jasmine and whipped vanilla". When I applied it, It immediately reminded my of B&BW Sweet Pea. I used to date a guy who only bought me Sweet Pea lotion and sprays because that was " all he liked on me"...yeah, you know we are not together any-t more. Can't box a fragrance heaux in...LOL.  Any-t-way....

I also read a review where someone likened  Carried Away to B&BW Sun Ripened Raspberries. My Life!!!!  I need some Sun Ripened Raspberries! I think I saw some at the B&BW Outlet ( they also sell it online). I swear, if I see it again, I'm buying some. Memories of dorm rooms and a 1987 Dodge Lancer #90smemories....le sigh.

Eh...I'll skip this one....going to get some Sun Ripened Raspberries instead!! My B&BW had wall-to-wall $1 Carried Away, so go try it and see how you like it.

***Don't buy the $2 spray.....the one I got was horrible. Its smelled like straight up rubbing alcohol. Who want's to take back a $2 spray, work on Bath & Body Works***
