~Fresh Coat~ Sinful Colors Paradise....

 I swear I have an addiction to blue nail polish.

I spotted Sinful Colors Paradise on their Swirling display Saturday and bought without thinking that I OWN at least three other colors similar. Those that I can think of (smh) are OPI No Room For The Blues and Sally Hansen Xtreme Nail Color in Blue Me Away. I need help. lol!

I don't own many Sinful Colors mainly because sometimes I think people don't notice that when they do a "special" or "limited edition" collection, they mix some the core colors in to fool into thinking they are LE. I've noticed that...has anyone else noticed that? HOWEVER, their special display NEVER say "Limited Edition" or "Special". Joke's on me right?!? lol! Maybe its my nail polish addiction gone schizo.:/

Paradise is two coats opaque but I'm chipping already applied yesterday. Womp.

~Fresh Coat~ Ruby Kisses Barbie Purple & Crazy Night Out....

 What a week....

I finally used one of the two  Ruby Kisses polishes I pick up on my last BSS haul. First, let me tell you, I don't know if they changed the formula or what but this polish smells HORRIBLE. It doesn't smell normal. Its smells like its an old formaldehyde formula. My nails better not be yellow when I take it off!

Second, this shade, Barbie Purple, is very, very opaque. Its almost a one coat but it streaks. Its also holds up well with a top coat. Must be the what that smell is. LOL!

I did the tips in Crazy Night Out which is packed with glitter in a clear base for a $1 polish. I didn't have to do too much of my "dabbing" method to get the look I wanted.

Anyone own Ruby Kisses polish? What are your favorite shades?

~FOTD~ Salmon Pink and Two Strand Twists Victory!!

 Hey Everyone!! I hope that your weekends were good.:)

I was looking for a peachy/pink eye look today and decided to use one of my Kleancolor Make Me Blush palettes in Stolen Beauty. This a cheapie blush( I paid $2.99 for it) and the pigmentation is wonderful and it was an even better eyeshadow!

 So I also washed my hair today and did some "mini" two strand twists and pinned it up...and it came out sooo good!! I didn't come out looking like Mrs.Celie Harris Johnson!! I couldn't believe it! I've been trying to ace that two strand updo forever ( like at least a year).

As you can see, I have those patches of aloepecia from God knows where...but I'm working on getting my hair back thanks to all the wonderful comments that you all left me on my hair rant post! I'm about to go over to it and personally answer back and follow anyone I'm not following who left a message. I love you!!

July 2011 Beauty Favorites....

 My July 2011 Beauty Favs will be coming via  post rather than video because I haven't gotten my set up for videos together. slack, I know. :(

I didn't have one makeup favorite even though I tried out some new makeup items. Nothing stuck for me but here are my favorite items for July:

Milani Smoothe Base Coat and Glosse' Top Coat: I won this duo on a giveaway on Nouveau Cheap. Together, they make for a long lasting manicure. The only thing I would tell Milani is that they need to re-name them because by looking at the name of the top and base coat, you don't know that the base coat has a ridge filler and the top coat is a fast dry top coat.

mark. by avon Lemon Sugar Whipped Up Body Butter,  3N1 Body Cleanser, and Body Mist: I literally wore this trio day in and day out for two weeks when I recieved it. Its fresh and sweet, like lemons baked in sugar! The Body Butter is even lightweight for the summer and spray is phenomenal for refreshing the scent all day.

Savor Whipped Soap in Noe Valley, Mendhi, My Boyfriend's T-Shirt: I can not RAVE enough about this Etsy seller and these wonderful whipped soaps. Now, all three of these scents are the 2oz samples but they come in a much larger size. Noe Valley smells like a good looking man!! lol! My Boyfriend's T-shirt is exactly what it is, fresh, clean, and warm. Mendhi is warm and will be amazing for this fall. I have wishlist of other Savor whipped soaps on Etsy favorites waiting to order when the owner come off vacay on the 8th.:)
