Hey Everyone!!
Wet N' Wild has releases a brand spring line up and it's PERMANENT!! **Cue the shouting music!!**
No hunting down palettes and nail polish. The items of this collection will show up at your local drugstore that carries Wet N' Wild sooner or later. So, relax.
So far, I have only pick up to items, one of the 5-pans( posting soon) and this 8-pan, Poster Child.
Poster Child is replacing another beloved 8-pan, Blue Had Me Hello. I'm going to need some reasons WHY on that one!
The colors are not named or numbers but shown in the palette as Browbone, Eyelid, Crease, Definer.
Look #1...
I used the all the pinks on the upper and the green shade on the lower lid to create this look.
I used a bit of the black on the outer V to define.....
Look #2...
I used the green on the lid, a bit of the blue in the crease and the black to define.....
Consensus....
I'll admit, I watched EmilyNoel83 review this palette on YouTube and she said, swatched and concluded that this palette was not the typical, pigmented WnW 8 pan we are used to. She was right on the money. Completely right. The palette looks visually bright and you think that you are going to get big, bad bright looks out of this girl. However, she's pretty sheer in pigmentation. Even with a cream base ( I used Maybelline Color Tattoo in Just Beige) this is all the color I got to give ya! Now, the black and the very dark blue are deeply pigmented and will not fail you. But if you are needing that big, bold brights....you are not going to get it. Poster Child isn't a total waste, though. I will keep her around to occasionally dip in for sheer pop of color looks.
Have you picked up Poster Child yet? Plan to? Let me know!
