~FOTD~ E.L.F. Little Black BeautyBook Warm Collection.....

 There is a catch to these new Spring collection E.L.F. Collection Beauty Books....but I'll get to that in a minute...

This another one of the E.L.F books I got from Target on clearance. I love, LOVE the neutrals in this one, because I'm a neutral lover. Crazy right? Most makeup lovers love bright pigmented colors, I love a strong, pigmented neutral. I like how neutrals can go day to night...they are more versatile than some think!

 I didn't touch those lip colors....they didnt look appealing really, plus I can never find a lip brush. I must own like 7 of them.:/

I used various colors in the neutrals but the problem , the catch, if you will is.....the blending is a sham. You gotta put some elbow grease behind these colors in order for them to blend. Plus, all the hard work can lead to over blending, then you have a blob of a mess!

~FOTD~ Wet N' Wild Blue Had Me At Hello....

Thanks to my "baby sis" Rai...I finally got Wet N' Wild Blue Had Me At Hello. Seriously cuzins, it must be some blue shadow wearing chicks in the Upstate of South Carolina because I could not get my hands on this palette. Thank God for friends in lower places like...... Louisiana. LOL!

Sweet array of blues...I see so many possiblies with this palette...I will do another look with it soon...maybe with the top four colors...hmmm....But this time, I gravitated to a classic smoky blue eye look....

~FOTD~ E.L.F Bright Eye Edition Beauty Book....

 So E.L.F. stepped their game up on these Beauty Books?!?!

Because, I own....about four these from previous purchases and they don't have no where near the pigment and quality as this one, Bright Eye Edition!

 I used the top row of colors on my eyes and had to hold back a little or it was going to be tooo much intensity than what I wanted. Really, E.L.F.??? Ya'll better go! lol!

 Some of the colors are a little too glittery though...hold back on that, E.L.F. mmmmkkkay?

Lately, I've been trolling Etsy for jewelry to fall in love with. I like the concept of handmade, artisan pieces that are quality and speak to the jewelry addict in me at a reasonable price....

I came across these adorable Bold Buttons Soda Can Art Statement Earrings about a week ago and I had to purchase them.....

They are designed by Etsy seller jillmccp. Looks familiar don't they?......

Well, its because they are recycled Arizona Tea Cans! They are summery and hang perfectly from my ear.  They solidly made too, beautiful quality. The shipping was super fast from Cali...even I was surprised!

Upcycled Statement Earrings. Soda Can Art. Arizona Tea. 

These earrings are made of embossed soda cans which are shaped like buttons. 

Each button measures 1 inch across and each earring has 8 buttons. 

Earrings measure 2 1/2 inches in length and are extremely lightweight and playful. Edges are not sharp they have been sanded with 1500 grit sandpaper.

All parts are hand-cut, embossed and assemble by me.
