My Birthday Wishlist!!!

My birthday is next Friday, September 23. I will be a young, vibrant, fabulous 34, hunty!!! Yass Ma'am!!!

I always buy myself something for my birthday, big or small. So I'm wish listing trying figure out what to get. I won't be spending alot of money, unless I have a serious cash windfall by then.:/

For some reason, I now want a iPad. Don't ask me why...I'm so out of digital touch...what edition is it on now 2nd?

I know that you don't see any makeup ( other than polish) or clothes...eh, I have so much makeup...stuff I haven't even used, I don't need anything. I'm really into skincare, fragrance and bath stuff at the moment. Plus, there are no clothes on the list....welp, I have a Fall Fashion Wishlist coming soon as the temperature drops for good!

I hope to have a GIVEAWAY on that day too! Why not give on the day God gave you to the world?!?:)))

~Fresh Coat~ JulieG Jessie's Girl Fashion Friday and Beauty Guru....

Hey Everyonesss.....lol!

So, I  decided to put on the two JulieG Jessie's Girl nail polish I purchased in Fashion Friday and Beauty Guru at the same time! Matter of fact, I thought I could 'water marble' both hands with the colors...

This is my thumb...and this the only finger I did. I have no patience to do both hands. There.

However I did like that two coats of both colors gives you an opaque look. That's a plus. Beauty Guru is actually more neon orange than in these pictures, too.

These are other colors I own that are simliar to Fashion Friday....E.L.F. Fuschia, Wet N' Wild Fuschia Rama, and Ruby Kisses Barbie Purple....

~FOTD~ Wet N' Wild We're Blasting Off....

 I finally spotted and picked up some shadows from the Dream Weaver collection from Wet N' Wild. I only got three shades because I didn't think the other shades were unique. Ah well... all that searching and waiting and I only got three.

First FOTD of the three is We're Blasting Off....

 This the actually the 2nd day I tried it...that first day was a FAIL. I was devastated. I didn't know how to work the shades....one reason I'm not a professional makeup artist.

 But this day, I followed the chart on the back of the palette, go figure. They are hard to blend, as most of these trios from Wet N' Wild. Once you apply the color, which faily pigmented, it doesn't want to move.:/

That's just MY experience. I watch You Tube videos with girls who use these and do seamless work too.

~Real Spotted~New Maybelline Products at CVS....

I got an email yesterday from CVS saying I only had $2.81 to spend to get to my 4th $5 Beauty Extra Bucks...so ya'll know I went in there and I spotted some new Maybelline items....

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara has a new mascara, well a new wand called Lots of Lashes...

I'm not a fan of Great Lash and really don't know why...but that brush is very interesting. Has anyone tried this new Great Lash wand??

Then I saw a new lip balm called Baby Lips by Maybelline and it reminded my of Kissing Koolers from back in the day! lol!

~Rural Style~ Weekend DIY, Finds, and Vintage Goodies....

This weekend was great for me and the collector of all things vintage accessories in me...plus I did a bit of DIY "practice" and found something I've been craving at the most unexpected place. lol! Ready???


Found all these scarves at the local Sal Val for $.50 a piece, 30 minutes before they closed. I had been avoiding going in there all day and then at 3:30 decided to go in and boom....vintage scarf heaven.:)

Three signed Vera Neumann scarves...THREE...the stars were perfectly aligned for me that day, I tell you! Her vintage scarves are my absolute favorite pieces to score. She created the first "signature" scarf in history.

five other great scarves, some pure 100% silk, none signed, but beautiful prints and textures....

This scarf still had the vintage "how to" tag attached.....

I know...looks like a weird combo of DIY materials but blame it on PS- I Made This and this tutorial. Truth be told....nothing I've made out of that book, has materialized into anything decent. Seriously....

Did this with the hose clamps and cheap yarn...I can do this better on the plain bangles they sell at the craft store...which is what I plan on doing.

Got my practice on doing some friendship bracelets...you can blame Honestly WTF for that new obesession. I still got it, too...lol...I can still make them.:)

I'm been pining over wrap bracelets on Etsy and even found a great tutorial on how to make them on You Tube but by the time I buy all the materials to make them, hell, I can buy one. Well, stepped into Walmart for turkey bacon and Daily's Margaritas and found these for $2 a piece. Perfect fit and everything. smh.
