Seven Days Of Rural Glamour Hair...Day 6...L'OREAL by L'Oreal KIWI COLOREFLECTOR ILLUMINATOR FINISH SHINE SPRAY

Saturday, December 13, 2008

I picked this up out of the .50 buggy( as known as a "shopping cart") at the "Green's". The top was broke off of it so I transferred this as well in a empty spray bottle from the BSS. L'OREAL by L'Oreal KIWI COLOREFLECTOR ILLUMINATOR FINISH SHINE SPRAY gives my hair super duper shine. It's great when I curl my hair, which is only once a week. My curls stay bouncy and soft and shiny. That simple!

Seven Days of Rural Glamour Hair...Day 5...Halo Illuminating Color Protection Leave In Sealant...

Quick Story before the review...on how I can afford this 21.99 leave in conditioner:):

So I've told ya'll about "Green's" and how they got the serious hook up on salon products. Well, they sell this Halo Illuminating Color Protection Leave In Sealant for 3.00. Well, I found one that didn't have the pump on the top so I got my bottle for .50, then I went to the BSS and got an empty spray bottle and transferred the sealant into the bottle. Give your cousin a handclap please!

Well, I don't have any color in my hair but I've always heard the products made for colored hair beauty work just as well on non-colored hair chicas because the extra strengthening components they possess. I love this Halo Leave In because I get an even softer feel to my hair( I put it on after a DC) and it leaves a bit of natural gloss to my hair when dry. This is the extra shot of moisture I need to my hair as these winds start come off the mountains down here.:)

If you need the "hook up" on this...Holla at your girl@ ruralglamour@yahoo.com and get the deets.

Seven Days of Rural Glamour Hair...Day 4...Organics by Africa's Best Hair Mayonnaise...

Thursday, December 11, 2008

Happy "Hair-aversary" to Me!!Three months strong in a great regimen that I don't mind keeping up and holding on to. Tomorrow I'm announcing a contest, the first for my blog so stay tuned!!!!

I began using Organics by Africa's Best Hair Mayonnaise when I just wasn't going to plop down any more money on Elasta QP DPR-11. I liked it but my heavy-handedness( yes, I will admit it now!lol!) was killing my poor wallet. I picked this huge jar up at Wal-Whizzle and hoped for the best.

It's great deep conditioner. Fifteen minutes under the dryer with a plastic cap or a hour with the plastic cap and no heat and my hair is restored to silky-ness. The main pro of this is that it light enough to do twice a week. Twice a week DCs???? Yep, I'm in the K.I.S.S. Deep Conditioner Challenge for DCs( It's a twice a week deep conditioner).

Seven Days of Rural Glamour Hair...Day 3...Aphogee Intensive 2 Minute Keratin Reconstructor...

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

If you are hair junkie... you heard the hype on Aphogee products. Countless hair bloggers and You Tubers swear by "routines" and "systems" wrapped around Aphogee for its damaged hair fighting promises. Well, the promise to me made by Aphogee Keratin 2 Minute Reconstructor proved golden.

I put a relaxer in my hair in September. Either, I didn't rinse the relaxer completely out or something but I lost alot of hair in the crown of my head. Plus, I had unbelievable breakage. So, I went on Coarse Hair Diaries message boards with the dilemma and was suggested to use the 2 Minute Constructor after every wash til the hair was restored and get a good trim.

A month later, I had new growth in my crown and all those little bitty breakage hairs were few and far between. I used this every two weeks, twice on that week to combat breakage. I actually use it for 5 mins instead of 2.

It's my little miracle worker...just a bit does alot...
