Ok 7 things about me....that you don't already know?!?! LOL!

1) I'm a serial journal keeper. I have journals for everything, everywhere. I have two for Rural Glamour alone and of course the food journal for the "lifestyle change". lol!

2)I'm just now discovering how AWESOME oatmeal is. Hey, I'm Southern, grits are more of a choice but I'm into oatmeal now, hardcore.

3)I  love yoga. I was taking yoga at the Y but didnt like the instructor. She was good but something about her didnt sit in my spirit well.  How weird, uh? So I do some basic poses at home and plan going to a yoga studio in a different city on the weekends.  I totally see how people get addicted to it. Its soo freeing.

4) I plan on building my entire summer wardrobe without buying anything new.

5) I want 25 dresses for the summer. I just wanna live in dresses, sandals, and great twistouts.:)

6) I suck at wearing sunglasses. I own lots of them but always forget to wear them.

7)  I collect coffee mugs. Its all a part of a perfect cup of coffee. It has to be the right shape, type, etc...such an emotional decision when I buy one. lol!

FOTD: Wet N' Wild ColorIcon Trio in I'm Getting Sunburned....

 Truth is....Wet N' Wild ColorIcon Trio is I'm Getting Sunburned...is NOT my favorite.


Yes...I'm starting off on the negative. lol. Now, let me tell you, first look at I'm Getting Sunburned and you think that the three colors selected for the palette are a fantastic combination. Who would think to put a  deep copper, a lavender pink and red-gold brown in one palette, right?!?!

 I really need to exfoilate...again:(

The lavender pink browbone shade applied a frosty lavender on me. And like the other trios I've reviewed, highly pigmented, hell to blend.

 The copper shade is a bit weak. I used the copper in the crease and above it. blah....

 The deep red-gold is packs alot of color...almost too much....too much on the brush and you've got a mess.

Maybe I'll play with it again. Silent Treatment was like that.

Hair of the Day...turned out to be Bad hair of the Day.:( I need some new wigs, stat.

Jamie's Weight Loss Diaries.... #4 Weigh In....

***Thursday is Weigh In Day...I weigh myself ONCE a week. I can't jump on the scale every day, all times of the day, when I feel fat, before a date....too much on my medicated brain. lol! Once a week is good for me. I'm a born again scale person. I'm  just now embracing the scale. I avoid it all thru my teens and twenties....***

Down to 223lbs

(16 lbs lost since 12/30/2010)

I haven't hit a "wall" or a "plateau" yet, thank God. That's not something I'm focused on. It could happen, it couldn't happen, so I'm not going to start this thing off negatively.

Many random things happened within the last week that made realize that this IS a lifestyle change.  I will clipping coupons ( I determine to be one of those monster couponers. lol) and I came across a coupon for $1 off Edwards mini pies. I remember that I used to eat one with every meal. I would clear the frozen foods shelf of the apple ones. I would eat them and drink hot cocoa and watch TV in a house that I was fighting my everything to stay in. They were part of my gaggle of comfort foods.

I started to cry.

I didn't see it then, but I was comforting myself emotionally with food. I was living in a house that I couldn't afford and hustling to stay there so that my kids would have there own home. The greedy beast I was fighting against was my very own relative who eventually took all the money that I had paid in rent and advance rent and spent it. Then decided I AND my kids couldn't live there anymore. I had no one to talk to, no one understood, I felt like failure. So Edwards Mini Apple Pies would save me...for the moment.

I have a list of my comfort foods that I keep in my food journal and when ever I discover a new one I forgot about, I write it down. You best believe those Edwards pies are on there. lol.

The emotions that come with emotional eating are as raw as the reasons you eat them.

FOTD: Wet N' Wild ColorIcon Trio in I Got Good Jeans....

I Got Good Jeans is the name of this Wet N' Wild Color Icon Trio. Two blues and a gold. Kinda reminds me of MAC Inter-view Mineralize Eye Shadow Trio.

Here ya go!! That light blue shade. HELL to blend. Maybe I'm just impatient. ( Excuse my flaky nose and bare lips.)

The Gold is not as bright as it is swatched. I did a bit of building to get the mid-intensity I got.

The dark blue is gorge though, loved that one....

Fresh Coat: Orly Oh Cabana Boy......

 I bought Orly Oh Cabana Boy off a Valentine's Orly display in Sally some weeks ago. But I quickly figured out its not a Valentine's exclusive( especially with the name "Oh Cabana Boy" lol)

Its part of the Orly Miami Slice collection circa 2009?!?

 Here it is....its sheer, so that's 3 coats. Its the most brilliant beautiful pink I've ever seen!!! This is officially my signature pink polish.
