Review: eShakti and My Ruffle Trim Floral Spray Maxi Dress....

Monday, August 09, 2010

I would like for thank everyone for joining me for my FIRST clothing review!!! yay!

I was honored to have the chance to review eShakti, an online custom clothing company. They do everything from dresses to coats with the option of being made specifically to the measurements you send in. Its real easy...just shop the site, pick your goodies, and enter your measurements. Most items ship in three days, so you are not waiting two weeks for a dress.

My favorite thing about eShakti ( which means power in Sanskrit), is that the sizes from 0-26W. Small women have fit problems just like Plus Size Divas.I'm a proud size 18 and I'm short and curvy so eShakti is right up my alley!
I choose to have the Ruffle Trim Floral Spray Maxi Dress (above)to be done in my measurements. I wanted a maxi dress in a solid color because I couldn't find one on the racks that was completely solid colored and didn't make me look pregnant! I also wanted a maxi dress that I didn't have to wear a strapless bra with, because God knows, a size 44D strapless bra with a reasonable price is hard to come by.
The dress arrived within three business days of ordering. The fit in the waist and hips are perfect! The length of the dress was crafted correctly for my 5'0 even frame and has worn perfectly with wedges and flats. However the bust was bit off. With a bra, its slightly too tight. The strap fit was perfect too. I have narrow shoulders, so straps tend to slide down. The straps on the maxi dress didn't move.

The Ruffle Trim Floral Spray Maxi Dress is made of 100% Cotton and comes in seven other colors. eShakti is also a perfect option for bridesmaid or hostess dresses.

I plan on getting a custom black blazer done for the fall. Its the perfect investment and all-around piece. I can't wait!!!

Jamie

Your reveiws always put me at ease about purchasing an item. Now the only issue I have is taking my measurements. I have always wanted a maxi dress but worried about how i would look in one.
