Review: Lipstock Cream Lip Conditioner....

Tuesday, March 15, 2011

This winter has been rough on my face and lips. I've never had so much dryness in my life. I think its because the winter weather was all over the  place for us Southerners: rain, three snowfalls, hot sun, cold windy days....

Chaos to country folks! lol!

I tried a new lip conditioner called Lipstock to bring back some life to my lips. The above picture is how it arrived in its "signature" packaging. I love the simplicity of the packaging and how it looked like a  delicate piece of candy!

Here's a brief description of Lipstock:

Lipstock is a cream textured lip conditioner, formulated to feel balanced, neither greasy, nor waxy, for longer lastingness…
  • Minimal repeat application needed
  • Immediately comforts & smoothens weathered lips
  • No fragrance, flavor or artificial preservatives
  • Handmade fresh per order (cruelty free)
  • Utilizing only 100% natural & USDA Certified Organic ingredients
  • Potent antioxidants uphold product viscosity and shelf life
  • Product tube is candy-wrapped in biodegradable wax paper to preserve freshness
  • Filed under a U.S. Provisional Patent

Pros:

-I like the packaging in the bullet shaped tube. It was easy to use and store and find as the white colored container stands out over all the tubes of lippies I own.

-The formula is divine. Smooth application.

-Unscented and unflavored. That is a super plus for me!

Cons:
-I didn't think that the formula soaked in well into my lips. Its not greasy but I would think it would soak in more than sit on the skin. I wanted it to condition more.

- I kept losing the top off the tube. It wasn't very secure.

Overall:

I think its a great combination of ingredients and love in a tube! Really, Lipstock is worth it because you will get the wear out of it for the season and does the job of protecting the delicate skin on your lips from the elements.

I received a free product (or products) for review purposes. I did not receive any form of compensation from the company. All opinions are my own and not influenced in anyway. My reviews are my personal and honest opinions
