Once a week is good for me. I'm a born again scale person. I'm just now embracing the scale. I avoid it all thru my teens and twenties....***

Down to 221 lbs

(18 lbs lost since 12/30/2010)

I lost no weight this week but I've learned....no gain is good and no loss is good too!

Nothing special to quibble about other than  my time of the month is here and my appetite is all over the place.

I'm ready for summer vegetables and fruit....strawberries, cantaloupe, grilled food....yummmm!!!

Re-joining the Y since they are waiving the joiner's fee and my cousin is going to help me become addicted to working out! So she says!!

I need some new lunch ideas....leave what healthy under 500 calorie lunches you like in the comment box!!

Making Jewelry from PS I Made This!!!

 I ordered this used copy of PS I Made This off Amazon for less than $3. I'm huge fan of the site and I love to want and wish I could make jewelry! lol! Makes no sense. I want to be crafty!!!

 I saw the author, Erica Domesek, make this same necklace on some talk show. Its cute and concept is simple. I would like to make a more sophicated designed one with different colored pantyhose and cylinders. I'm going hunt around for something different.

Anyway...

 Here are the instructions. I could not find bigger balls. Matter of fact, I knew where  I could find them, but I wasn't in a Wal-Mart mood so I went to the local dollar store....

 Bought what I could find....

Made the necklace!!! I like it, but I can't help to think, I'm wearing bouncy balls and pantyhose around my neck. LOL!

Who knew Victoria's Secret Sold This Stuff?? A mini haul:)

I never get "regular" Victoria's Secret catalogs. Only the sale ones. lol!

So, I'm flipping thru the recent sale one I got and there is a coupon code for $10 off any purchase, $10 minimum. My mind goes beserk. Basically just need to pay for shipping on $10 of free stuff. Deal!!


I went straight to the beauty section and picked:

Beauty Rush HyperGloss Conditioner in Appletini-  I didn't know Beauty Rush had hair products. Got this because I needed more detangling conditioners. Its smells amazing!!!

Flexible Hold Hair Spray in Berry Kiss- I can used this on fro-hawks and updos. But seriously, the Garden Collection sells hairspray?

PINK by VS Polish & Bling in Purple- nail polish. no explanation needed. Didn't know they sold this either.

Free Target Beauty Sample Bag Arrived!

 Maybe about three weeks back, Target had a sign up on their website for a free beauty bag full of beauty goodies. Why did that box arrived today?!? That was fast! It normally takes weeks and weeks to recieve that free stuff...

 All the beauty goodies and coupons came in a Sonia Kashuk designed makeup bag....

Here's what I got:

$25 in coupons book- Mainly mainstream brands like Cover Girl, Revlon, Olay.... Best coupons so far are two Nivea coupons, one for $1 off a skin product and one for $3 off a skin product which look like it can be doubled.

Old School: Caboodles Nail Paint....

 While grocery shopping at a local grocery store called "Jimmy's Fresh Air Galaxy", I spotted a table of 5 for $1 makeup goodies that included some Caboodles makeup and these Nail Paints they used to sell.

Do you remember Caboodles Makeup Line? I do. It was cute and it had lots of sparkly stuff, powders and body gels. So, I dating these stuff back to at least, the early 2000s.

 Some of the polish had name stickers and some did not. But each formula was in great shape, smooth consistency, no thickness, or chunkyness. I remember owning a couple of these but I dont remember the colors I had.

I'm completely obsessed with beauty products but WAAYYYY more obsessed with discontinued products...oh and polish. lol! I'm surprised I haven't seen any polish heads NOTD this. Plus, I just searched and saw on Ebay someone selling these $10 a pop! What??!?!
